Tropical Depression Imelda Submerges Greater Houston Area

Severe flooding was reported in the greater Houston metropolitan area on September 19, as Tropical Depression Imelda traveled over eastern Texas.

KHOU reported that flash flood warnings remained in effect for much of southeast Texas on Thursday.
