TVLine readers gave Season 1 an average grade of “A” — and nearly an “A+.”

Executive-produced by Yellowstone Universe overlord Taylor Sheridan, writer Terence Winter and director Craig Zisk, Tulsa King‘s sophomore run finds Dwight (played by Stallone) and his crew continuing to build up and defend their growing empire in Tulsa.

Alas, just as they get their bearings, they realize that they’re not the only ones who want to stake their claim.

“With looming threats from the Kansas City mob and a very powerful local businessman, Dwight struggles to keep his family and crew safe while keeping track of all his affairs,” the official synopsis continues. “Plus, he still has unfinished business back in New York.”

The Tulsa King cast also includes Martin Starr as Bodhi, Jay Will as Tyson, Max Casella as Armand, Vincent Piazza as Vince, Tatiana Zappardino as Tina, Annabella Sciorra as Joanne, Domenick Lombardozzi as Chickie, Andrea Savage as Stacy, Garrett Hedlund as Mitch, and Dana Delany as Margaret.

New for Season 2, meanwhile, are Arrow‘s Neal McDonough (as Cal Thresher, a powerful and extremely territorial businessman) and Kingdom‘s Frank Grillo (as Bill Bevilaqua, a Kansas City mobster with interests in Tulsa).

Of note: For anyone wanting a refresher (or anyone who forgets to change the channel after Big Brother Season 26’s Sunday installments), CBS will be airing Tulsa King Season 1 beginning July 14, at 9/8c.
