Arrests were made after two men assaulted two customers at McDonald's.

Merseyside Police were called to the Jennifer Avenue branch in Vauxhall at around 12.30pm on Monday, May 6. It followed a "disturbance" where two customers at McDonald's were assaulted.

Two men, one aged 18 and the other 20-years-old, from Orrell Park, were arrested on suspicion of assault. They still remain in custody, a spokesperson for the force said.

Pictures of the scene showed four police cars outside the fast food restaurant and around six police officers. Several eyewitnesses could also be seen talking to police and staff members were waiting outside.
