Two Healthy Manatees Returned to Florida from Cincinnati Zoo

The Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Gardens sent two healthy manatees back to Florida while welcoming three more that need to be rehabilitated, it said on Wednesday, October 18.

The three orphaned manatees – Pippen, Miles, and Mathew – were brought from SeaWorld Orlando. A fourth was sent to the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium as part of the US Fish & Wildlife Service’s Manatee Rescue and Rehabilitation Partnership. BamBam, one of the manatees returned to Florida, was the fourteenth to be rehabilitated and released by the zoo.
