Two men have been rushed to hospital after an attack near Govan Subway Station late last night (May 18).

Emergency services blue-lighted to Govan Road after they received reports of an assault at around 11.15pm.

A man aged 18 and a man aged 20 were taken to hospital following the incident but were later discharged without receiving treatment.

Police Scotland have confirmed an investigation into the incident is still ongoing.

A spokesperson from the force said: “Around 11.15pm on Saturday, 18 May, 2024, we received a report that two men aged 18 and 20 were assaulted at Govan Road in Glasgow.

"They were taken to hospital for treatment and later discharged without treatment. Enquiries are ongoing.”
