True to his word, Tyson Fury has been spotted easing back into normal life with a visit to the local tip.

After his first professional defeat to Oleksandr Usyk on Saturday, the heavyweight boxer had vowed to spend quality time with his family, walk the dog, and clear out some rubbish. Yesterday (May 20) the 'Gypsy King' was seen leaving his Morecambe home, waste in tow, ready to do just that.

Dressed casually in a navy tracksuit and white cap, complete with sunglasses to shield his post-fight injuries, the 35-year-old seemed to be taking his loss in stride. Returning from Riyadh on a lavish £34million private jet, Fury had endured a tough fight, nearly being knocked out in the ninth round.

Despite believing he had secured the win by points, the split decision ultimately favoured Ukrainian Usyk. Reflecting on the match, Fury remarked: "We punched f*** out of each other for 12 rounds. I'm going to go home, eat some food, drink some beers, have some family time, walk the dog, go to the tip."

He added: "Me and Frank Warren will discuss the future. If there's going to be another fight - I think they're talking about October - then we'll rock and roll."

Paris Fury, 34, couldn't attend the fight in Saudi Arabia but shared a heartfelt message online, praising her husband as 'still the best man' in her eyes. On Monday morning, the couple were seen together in their Nissan Navara pick-up truck, running errands under the Morecambe sun.

Paris was dressed in a white top and shorts, her face shaded by sunglasses, hair tied back in a ponytail. Tyson was spotted picking up some rubbish from across the street opposite his residence, expressing gratitude to a queue of vehicles that had halted to allow the towering 6ft9in fighter to dash across the road.

The pair were seen taking shopping bags out of the boot of their vehicle before swiftly heading back inside. Tyson seemed to be engaged in a phone call while he was unloading the items from his car.

The dad-of-seven, who has the option to retire with an automatic rematch clause in his contract with Usyk, shared insights on what could lead him to retire soon. In his post-fight press conference, he said: "I'm not boxing here because I've got no money.

"I'm boxing because I love it. Do you understand? I'm 36 in a few months and I've been boxing since I've been a child so it is what it is."

He added: "Where does it all end? I'm not sure but the thing is, all the time I'm still loving the game, and I was having fun in there, I was really enjoying myself, then I'll continue to do it and when I can't do that anymore, I'll pack it up."
