Juventus have reportedly initiated talks with Manchester United for Jadon Sancho.

The 24-year-old spent the second-half of last season on loan at his former club Borussia Dortmund after a well-publicised fallout with Erik ten Hag. Reports have suggested that if the Dutchman left Old Trafford, then Sancho would be reintegrated into the United team.

However, after INEOS' decision to stick with Ten Hag, there has been suggestions that Sancho could be heading toward the exit door. Juventus meanwhile, were initially interested in Mason Greenwood after his impressive loan stint for Getafe last season but it appears their interest is beginning to cool down.

Get Football News Italy report that Sancho has become a 'primary summer target' for the Bianconeri following the arrival of new boss Thiago Motta and therefore, have 'opened talks' over a potential transfer.

Meanwhile, the Sun adds that United's £40million asking price for the winger is likely to be too much for Juve, though it doesn't mean the deal is completely off the cards. A loan with an option to buy could be a possibility.

Elsewhere, United are reportedly set to try and hijack Inter Milan's deal for Genoa Milan goalkeeper Josep Martinez to provide competition for number one Andre Onana. The United officials have a challenging task in front of them with Inter said to be in discussions with the player's representatives over a deal.

Although Fabrizio Romano states that Martinez has already agreed personal terms with Inter, a new meeting is scheduled with Genoa this week as a fee is yet to be agreed. Journalist Sacha Tavolieri suggests that United are expected to 'formulate an official offer' for the Spaniard.

It remains to be seen whether United can hijack a deal which would see Martinez swap the Serie A for the Premier League. The 26-year-old joined Genoa from RB Leipzig on an initial loan deal in 2021 before completing the £3.5m move the following year.
