This cow got its head stuck in a bicycle

This poor bemused cow baffled passers-by in the New Forest today by getting its head stuck in a bicycle.

The confused cow was spotted in Brockenhurst, standing alone on the pavement with its head wedged behind the front wheel.

It's unclear who the bike belonged to, or indeed, where the cow had come from.

Motorist John Weiler, 51, was driving through Brockenhurst when he clocked the bizarre scene.

He said: 'I noticed the cow on the side of the road so I stopped and got out of my car.

'She was staying quite calm, I did try and approach her but she backed away a little.

Luckily the cow managed to shake off the unusual accessory and went on her way.
