An Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) star has lauded the "unbelievable atmosphere" Celtic fans created during Saturday afternoon's clash against Rangers.

Brendan Rodgers men beat the Ibrox club 1-0 with a last gasp Adam Idah winner to equal their rivals historic trophy tally and claim a Premiership and Scottish Cup double, reports Glasgow Live.

Among the thousands of fans cheering Celtic to succeed was professional mixed martial artist Paddy 'The Baddy' Pimblett.

Known for competing in the Lightweight division in the UFC, he swapped the ring for a football pitch to soak up the atmosphere at the cup final.

Sharing a picture alongside pals on social media, he wrote: "The Old Firm derby is a game I’ve always wanted to go to, even more special at Hampden park in the Scottish Cup Final.

"Unbelievable atmosphere... puts most prem grounds to shame, that Celtic end was bouncing."
