Tattoos hold a deeply personal significance for many people, with each design often representing meaningful stories, moments, or loved ones. And while more and more people are inking their skin, seeing someone completely covered with tattoos is more of a rarity.

The sight of someone adorned with extensive inkwork can pique our curiosity about their appearance prior to transforming their skin into an artful tapestry.

One such person is Becky Holt, who has spent more than £35,000 covering her body in tattoos. The 35-year-old, from Cheshire, has substantial ink designs on her forehead, chest, arms, and legs.

But back in 2021, Becky decided to give her Instagram followers a chance to see what she would have looked like had she not decided to cover 95 per cent of her body in tattoos, The Mirror reports.

Using heavy make-up, Becky cleverly concealed half of her face and torso with foundation, effectively erasing any hint of her inked designs on her left hand side.

Posting a picture of the stunning transformation, she said that she thought she looked "mad" without her inkwork. She asked followers: "What do you prefer?"

Her post was met with a flurry of compliments, with fans insisting she was gorgeous in both looks, some even describing her as a "natural beauty" whose tattoos merely "enhanced" her good looks.

One person replied: "No such thing as too many tattoos in my book. Beautiful women can only get better with a full body of tattoos. You are beautiful with or without them."

Another said: "You look good with either but more quirky with them". A third fan commented: "You're pretty both ways".

Becky has previously spoken about the mixed reactions to her tattoos, especially on social media, with some people mistakenly associating her with gang activity due to her body art.

Speaking to GB News, Becky said: "My family and friends love my tattoos they're all really proud of me and think they're amazing. I get quite a lot of backlash online. My followers think they're unreal but I get trolled.

"People tell me I've gone too far but it's my body. It's my life I've made these choices. It doesn't bother me that you don't have tattoos, so why does it bother you that I do?"
