Ulrika Jonsson has sex for first time in five years and says it was "like losing my virginity"
Ulrika Jonsson has announced that she has had sex for the first time in five years.
The 52-year-old TV presenter last year said she was splitting from her third husband Brian Monet after 11 years of marriage due to a lack of intimacy.
Jonsson has now revealed in her column in The Sun newspaper that she has been dating someone new and they have slept together for the first time.

She wrote: “Yes folks, at the age of 52, after a marriage set against a barren sexual landscape and a five-year hiatus - I have had sex.”
Jonsson added:“It was like losing my virginity all over again - except this time I felt much more in control and considerably less scared.”
And she disclosed: “I was capable of the same sexual feelings and gratification as I had when I used to have an active sex life. My strength of feeling had not waned.”
The TV star - who began dating again after her divorce last year - revealed it was not her first date with the person in question, but declared: “The person is irrelevant.”
Defending her decision to broadcast her experience, the mother-of-four said: “It is not intended as an overbearing gloat about a dried-up old has-been’s sexual exploits.”
Jonsson went on: “It is about conquering fears and overcoming one’s own personal age discrimination and perception of body image.”
In the last year Jonsson has spoken openly about the difficulties she has experienced going through the menopause, the break-up of her marriage due to lack of intimacy and self esteem issues.
She recently became the face of over-Fifties dating app Lumen.
