DC fans impressed by huge cameo connecting film and TV universe: 'Well done on not having that leaked'

DC just linked its film and television universe thanks to an unprecedented cameo from a Justice League character.

The crossover of the DC films and television shows (nicknamed the Arrowverse) is a huge move from the studio, which has kept the two separate until now.

So, which film character made a surprise appearance on the small screen? That would be The Flash, who is played by Ezra Miller.

Miller showed up in Crisis on Infinite Earths: Part Four, an annual crossover event usually reserved for the television characters – and the cameo saw him rub shoulders with Grant Gustin’s version of the same character.

“What the hell is this?” Miller’s incarnation asks to which Gustin’s character responds: “I’m asking myself the same question.”

Before Miller’s Flash believes Gustin's version is actually another version of himself, he believes he’s a fan in cosplay.

Miller’s character eventually fades away, but before he goes, he says: “I told Victor this was possible,” referencing Victor Stone AKA Cyborg in Justice League.

The other DC characters to have appeared on the big screen include Wonder Woman, Aquaman and Shazam.

Miller’s appearance in Crisis on Infinite Earth certainly opens up the chance for more crossovers involving the film characters in the future.

Fans responded to the moment accordingly.

The Flash airs in the US on The CW in the US with UK broadcast arriving on Sky One and NOW TV.
