Porn really can be bad for your health.

A 50-year-old Japanese man died after the more six tons of pornographic magazines he had amassed fell on top of him.

It was unclear if the porn lover had suffered a heart attack and fallen into the stacks of magazines which had then fallen on top of him.

Or, alternatively, whether the man had been crushed by the sheer weight of the magazines.

The man was named only as Joji and was said to be a mechanic.

The cleaner added that if the man was still conscious after the magazines fell on him, the paper would probably have muffled his cries.

Every space in the flat was filled with piles of magazines, which also stacked on tables and on shelves.

There were also clippings from erotic magazines where it appeared the man had cut out his favourite articles, and thrown away the rest of the magazine.

At the time of his death the collection weighed in at six metric tons (approximately 13,200 pounds).
