Urgent 999 appeal to find missing man last seen at Chorley train station

An urgent 999 appeal has been issued to find a missing man who was last seen at the railway station in Chorley more than a week ago.

Police said Miles Ogden was last seen at about 1pm on Monday, June 24. He was due to travel to York and was wearing a dark-coloured t-shirt, blue jeans and black and white Adidas trainers

Miles, 24, is described as being of slim build, with brown hair and a slight beard. Officers said his 'disappearance is out of character' and they are 'very concerned for his welfare'.

In a statement, North Yorkshire Police said: We are appealing for information to help find Miles Ogden, missing from York. Miles, 24, was last seen at about 1pm on Monday 24 June at the railway station in Chorley, from where he was due to travel to York.

"He was wearing a dark-coloured t-shirt, blue jeans and black and white Adidas trainers. He is of slim build, with brown hair and a slight beard.

"He may be in London. His disappearance is out of character, and we are very concerned for his welfare.

"If you see Miles, or know where he is, please contact North Yorkshire Police immediately. Dial 999 with an immediate sighting, otherwise call 101 and quote reference 12240115818."
