Vancouver Residents Raise a Ruckus in Tribute to Health Care Workers

Every night people in the Yaletown and Olympic Village areas of Vancouver, British Columbia, cheer, clap, and bang pots and pans in support of health care workers tending to those battling COVID-19, according to reports.

This new ritual follows a worldwide trend of local residents cheering and applauding medical workers to show their appreciation. News reports credit Rory Richards with starting the Vancouver chapter of the movement with a Facebook event.
