Victoria Beckham reflects on her reputation as a 'miserable cow'
"Everyone else saw a woman who looked grumpy and stern."
Victoria Beckham appears to have pinned down why she became known as a "miserable cow".
Thanks to singing in the pop group Spice Girls, plus her various fashion ventures and marriage to legendary Manchester United footballer David, Beckham is one of the most famous women in the world.
In an interview coinciding with her milestone 50th birthday, the star told The Sunday Times that she came to a realisation while browsing through some photographs.

"I looked at some pictures of myself recently and was really struck by how happy I looked," she said.
"In the past I've always looked at those red carpet pictures of me and seen a woman who looks nervous and insecure. Everyone else saw a woman who looked grumpy and stern — I suppose that's how I got the reputation of being such a miserable cow."
At 50, 'Posh Spice' said she feels she has better opportunities than when she was younger.
Beckham had celebrated turning 50 in style in Mayfair with a glamorous dinner at members club Oswalds with her family and friends. Her daughter in law Nicola Peltz Beckham was unable to attend and she sent her apologies on social media.
Peltz Beckham shared her wishes for her mother in law. She wrote: "'Happy birthday to my beautiful mil @victoriabeckham. I'm so sad not to be there to celebrate you and hug you! Sending all my love from me and my naunni! I miss you all so much!"
It comes as Beckham is now selling Rolls-Royce tops in a cheeky wink to scene that went viral in the Netflix's docuseries Beckham, which charts her husband's stratospheric rise to fame.

Announcing the organic cotton product via TikTok, Beckham told her fanbase back in November: "Now who doesn't love a slogan T-shirt? I do. And I have to say, my question for you all: What did your dad drive you to school in? My dad drove me, yes, in a Rolls-Royce."
The bad news? One will cost you £110.
