Anti-Islamist Demonstrators Challenged by Rival Protesters in Sydney

Anti-Islamist protesters using the hashtag #ReclaimAustralia protested in Sydney on the morning of Sunday, July 19. Police used capsicum spray to disperse the crowd and arrested five people after clashes broke out between the rival camps. Counter-protests also took place, with this video shows anti-racism marchers chanting “Nazi scum, off the street”.

Similar protests were held all over Australia, while scuffles were also reported in Canberra. This came a day after protests in Melborn turned violent. Credit: Twitter/ahcayley
