Barack Obama Mocks Republicans for Being Afraid of Syrian Widows and Children

US President Barack Obama spoke about America’s intake of Syrian refugees at the APEC summit on Wednesday, November 17, saying Republicans were “scared of widows and orphans coming into the United States of America” (23:16). President Obama said security screening of all refugees was a “vigorous process” and all applications took between 18 to 24 months in processing.
