Berkeley Protesters Demand Change in Police Tactics

An estimated 100 protesters marched through the streets of Berkeley, California, demanding an end to police brutality and changes in police tactics, including that police officers wear body cameras, on Tuesday, February 10.

The march came as the city council held a meeting to discuss #BlackLivesMatter protests that turned violent in December and “consider possible restrictions on the use by the police department of batons, rubber bullets and tear gas”, reported ABC7. Credit: Instagram/ms.honeylove
