Egypt Buys Rafale Jets From France

Egypt agreed to buy 24 Rafale fighter jets from the French government on Tuesday February 17, becoming the first customer for exports of France’s Rafale jets.

In a press conference held after the deal was signed, the Egyptian minister of Defense said the agreement came at a time when both nations were facing an unprecedented challenge from terrorism.
