Fork Lightning Lights Up Sydney's Lavender Bay

A ferocious storm ripped through Sydney on Wednesday evening, March 11, damaging structures, cutting power lines, uprooting trees and interrupting train services, according to reports. Gusts of more than 80km/h were recorded and up to 29 millimetres of rain fell in just half an hour. This video shows fork lightning stretching along the sky over Sydney’s Lavender Bay.
