Jamaican Prime Minister Greets Obama in Kingston

Jamaican Prime Minister Portia Simpson Miller greeted US President Barack Obama at Kingston airport on April 8 in advance of the Summit of the Americas in Panama that starts April 10. Simpson Miller said she was “overjoyed” and “proud” Jamaica was in the position to host a US President.

Obama a few years ago promised Simpson Miller he would visit, the Jamaica Observer reported. His itinerary includes “bilateral talks with the Jamaican Government and Caricom leaders.” Credit: YouTube/Loop News Group
