Many Cases Involve Drivers Who Have Been Drinking Or Taking Drugs

The number of hit-and-run cases in Britain has increased, according to new figures. The Motor Insurers' Bureau (MIB) - which compensates victims of uninsured and untraced accidents - says the number of claims where the driver did not stop has gone up in the last year. In 2014, 13,483 claims were made, compared to 12,884 in 2013.
