MSF Plane Carrying Urgently Needed Medical Supplies Lands in Sana'a

A cargo plane chartered by Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) carrying 15 tonnes of urgently needed medical supplies landed in Sana’a, Yemen, on April 13.

Former MSF head of mission in Yemen, Himedan Mohammed Himedan, says getting supplies into Yemen has been difficult but now that MSF has succeeded in getting in shipments form sea and air, the challenge remains of getting the supplies everywhere they need to go.

According to the organization they are aiming to expand its activities in Yemen to respond to the current needs, however MSF reports that “widespread fighting is hampering activities.” Credit: YouTube\MSF-USA
