Royal Family Attend Magna Carta Anniversary Celebrations

Queen Elizabeth was in Runnymede on Monday, June 15, to lead celebrations marking the 800th anniversary of the sealing of the Magna Carta, which laid the foundations of parliamentary democracy. Members of the royal family, as well as Prime Minister David Cameron, attended a special event in Runnymede at the site where King John sealed the original Magna Carta document in 1215.
