The Walking Dead has adapted yet another big moment from the comics in the latest episode, as Negan struck again.

A Savior named David attempted to rape Sasha in her cell at the Sanctuary, until Negan walked in and killed him with a knife to the neck.

The sequence was faithful to Issue #117 of the comics, right down to some of the lines of dialogue, except that it was a character named Holly in Sasha's predicament.

Also, Holly didn't deliver that headbutt like Sasha did.

"Fighting's just going to make it last longer," David told Sasha on the TV series, as she fought back. "But for the record, that's fine by me."

"What the hell do you think you're doing in here?" Negan said.

"Do you really think I need you to answer that? I can see you're trying to rape this woman. You were trying to rape this woman, weren't you?"

David uttered an apology, but Negan refused to accept it.

That led to this shot...

Sasha eventually stabbed David in the head when the dead Savior began to reanimate as a walker.

Martinez, who played David, shared his experience shooting that scene.

"One of the things that the producers were really, really cognisant of was really trying to match, frame for frame, the sequence of the events from the comic," he told ComicBook.com.

"We even had a special day of fitting for the costumes, making sure the costumes were exactly what you saw in the comic book.

"I had a whole extra day of prosthetics for the knife stabbing me in the head, and the other prosthetic for the stab wounds in the throat. It was just incredible, man.

"It was like being a kid in Disneyland."

The Walking Dead airs on AMC in the US and on FOX in the UK.
