A wanted man has taunted police by posting their appeal for his whereabouts on his own Facebook page.

Staffordshire Police launched a nationwide appeal for 21-year-old Marlon ‘Ziggy’ Dickens after failing to appear in court for drug offences and assault as well as failing to answer bail.

But after the force posted a mugshot of Dickens along with Staffordshire Police’s badge, he not only shared it himself but updated his Facebook profile picture to the same image.

Dickens, of Stoke-on-Trent, mocked the force’s search for him and added below the post: “The camera love me.”

Numerous friends then commented on the post voicing their support.

One said: “The Notorious Z.I.G. haha”, while another said: “The mug shot of you is so cute Marl”.

Dickens is described as being 5ft 2in with a medium build and short dark hair and anyone with information is urged to contact Staffordshire Police on 101.
