Wanted men arrested in connection with Middlesbrough attempted murder probe

Two wanted men have been arrested as an attempted murder probe continues.

The men, aged 22 and 25, who Cleveland Police appealed to trace in connection with the investigation were arrested today (Thursday May 23). Detectives continue to investigate an incident which happened at an address on Hubbard Walk, Middlesbrough, around 8:20pm on Friday, May 17.

The incident left a 35-year-old man with serious injuries. He remains in hospital receiving treatment.

Both men were arrested today on suspicion of attempted murder and they remain in police custody whilst enquiries continue. A third male, aged 17, who was arrested on Tuesday (May 21) has now been released on police bail.
