Watch County Press reporter's firewalk for St Catherine's School

COUNTY Press reporter Liam Chorley was among those who braved a firewalk to raise money for St Catherine's School in Ventnor on Saturday.

The well-supported event raised more than £2,500 for the special school, which is a charity.

Tanya Smith, school fundraiser, said: "We want to thank all the people who took part in or came to watch our firewalk event.

"The event went well and we appreciate the money raised.

"Training was taken by world record holder Scott Bell.

"We look to maybe hold the event again in 2025. Thank you to all the staff who gave up their time to support us, locals who came and watched and of course those who took part. Events like this wouldn't be possible without you."
