Not all the work on show at the London Art Fair will be on the walls.

Visitors to the event, which starts on January 22, will see volunteers wearing “shoulder sculptures” created by artistic duo Dunhill and O’Brien.

The 3D printed wearable artworks, which are about 10cm high, sell for £2,000 and are scaled down versions of larger pieces made by the duo.

Mark Dunhill, who worked at Central St. Martins for many years, said there was “an element of humour” to the work.

He said: “But there is also a sense of this huge exhibition with thousands of people going round looking at the walls so why not take the work out to the people instead, so you become the gallery.”

The couple will be among dozens of artists showing their work at the fair, held at the Business Design Centre on Upper Street, Islington, until January 26.

Also on show will be work from around the world with galleries from Singapore, Germany, Japan and Israel represented at the fair.
