May is set to be quite a big month for Netflix premieres, from Bridgerton Season 3 to Jerry Seinfeld's Unfrosted movie. But with that comes a few losses on the platform, including the movie musical Mamma Mia! and the 1991 The Addams Family film.

As we count down the moments until May begins, the clock is ticking to watch some films before they're removed the streaming site in Canada. While we also wait for some of the most highly anticipated releases of the month.

Fans of the movie musicals won't be able to sing along to their favourite Abba songs from Mamma Mia! shortly, with the film, starring Meryl Streep and Amanda Seyfried, being removed from Netflix in May.

For action fans, the 2008 movie Rambo, starring Sylvester Stallone, will be leaving Netflix at the beginning of May.

A number of comedies are being removed from Netflix in May, including The Invention of Lying with Jennifer Garner and Ricky Gervais, and Louis C.K., who has been accused of sexual misconduct by multiple women in recent years.

Additionally, How to Be Single with Dakota Johnson, Rebel Wilson, Leslie Mann and Alison Brie will be leaving Netflix in May. So will Adam Sandler's The Cobbler.

While Wednesday became incredibly popular on Netflix, the streaming is removing the 1991 film The Addams Family, starring Anjelica Huston, Raul Julia, Christopher Lloyd and Christina Ricci.

The family-friend film Stuart Little is also leaving Netflix next month, in addition to the family comedy Are We Done Yet? starring Ice Cube.

This is also your last chance to watch the 2004 Ashton Kutcher movie, The Butterfly Effect, with Amy Smart, on Netflix.

And the 2015 film Spotlight, starring Mark Ruffalo, Rachel McAdams, Michael Keaton, Liev Schreiber, Brian d'Arcy James, John Slattery and Stanley Tucci is also leaving Netflix.
