Where will Manuel Pellegrini rank among Premier League's top earning bosses when he joins West Ham?

Manuel Pellegrini appears set to take over and West Ham… and the Hammers are willing to pay to get their man.

Standard Sport reported earlier on Monday that the Chilean will earn around £10million a year if he agrees to take over at the London Stadium, a salary that is significantly more than many managers in the Premier League’s top six.

The 64-year-old, who won the Premier League title with Manchester City in 2014, was generously rewarded during his tenure at Hebei China Fortune, taking home £12m from the Chinese Super League side.

Pellegrini was keen to return to Europe and the offer of a generous salary from West Ham means he should not feel the pinch too much if he does indeed agree to take over from David Moyes.
