Where to park for Foo Fighters' at Birmingham's Villa Park Stadium

Rock legends Foo Fighters' huge Everything Or Nothing At All tour has finally underway across the UK - and it isn't long until the show arrives in Birmingham. Foos fans will be able to see the band at Villa Park Stadium on Thursday, June 27.

The Everything Or Nothing At All tour started in Dallas on May 1 - and their first UK date took place at Manchester's Emirates Old Trafford on Thursday, June 13. The shows will mark the Foo Fighters' first tour in the UK without their late drummer Taylor Hawkins, who died in March 2022, aged 50 years old.

Do you have tickets for Foo Fighters on June 27? And are travelling by car? You may be looking at where you can park near to the stadium.

We have rounded up some handy details below on where you can park, and whether you need to pre-book or not.

Where is Villa Park Stadium?

Villa Park Stadium can be found just outside of the Aston area of Birmingham. The easiest postcode to use to navigate to the stadium is B6 6HE.

However, Villa Park is located in residential areas that do not allow for parking. So don't expect to be able to park too close to the stadium for a quick exit afterwards. A Traffic Exclusion Zone will be applied around the stadium throughout the day of the concert too.

Road closures and traffic restrictions

Through Birmingham City Council's roadworks map on their website, which you can find here, a number of other roads will be affected to. Traffic restrictions and road closures will be in place on:

  • Witton Road

  • Station Road

  • Trinity Road

  • Holte Road

Parking near Villa Park Stadium

Parking at Villa Park Stadium will not be available on the day of Foo Fighters' concert on Thursday, June 27. According to the Aston Villa website there are numerous parking sites 'within a 45-minute walk (or less) of the stadium'.

The website reads: "However, the capacity of these car parks will not be sufficient for all those looking to park. Once all parking sites are filled, the next alternative is to use the City Centre to park, and then use public transport, taxi, uber or our official shuttle bus services operating from Dudley Street (near to New Street Station) to get to Villa Park.

"Please leave in plenty of time to allow for a journey to park and access the venue from the City Centre.

"The official car parks supporting the concert are not centrally controlled. There are various third parties who operate these sites, but all the ones listed in this document are known to be reputable and operate parking responsibly."

Two third party companies who are offering parking to be purchase in advance of the concert of EST and Countrywide. Countrywide is offering a number of parking options, including at Birchfield Primary School, Prince Albert High School and South Aston United Reform Church. You can find more here.

EST are offering a number of options, however the Y International option, which is a 10 minute walk from the stadium, is sold out. You can find out more about their options, here.

Shuttle buses

If you plan on parking in the city centre for the Foos, then you will be able to use the official concert shuttle bus service to get to Villa Park Stadium. The service is priced at £5 one way - or £10 return.

Before the concert, you can pick up the shuttle bus from Dudley Street, near to New Street Station. The buses start at 4pm - and will then depart at 10 minute intervals, with the final service leaving at 7.30pm. The buses will drop fans at Aston Hall, across the road from Villa Park.

After the concert finishes, the shuttles will run from Aston Hall, starting from 6pm. They will again depart at 10 minute intervals, with the final bus at midnight. The service will drop you back off at Dudley Street.

Marshalls will be available at both Dudley Street and Aston Hall. You can purchase the shuttle bus tickets in advance, by clicking here. Or you can purchase them on the day at either end of the service.

Accessible parking

There is also accessible parking available for Foo Fighters' concert at Villa Park Stadium. You will need to call the ticket office on 0333 323 1874.

If you have accessible seating tickets in the Trinity Road Stand, you will be advised to book parking in the Villa Village/North Stand car park. Those seated in Doug Ellis, should book Yew Tree Community School or the coach park. If you're sat in Holte End, book online via Aston Villa Parking.
