Godiva has come a long way from its humble beginnings in 1997. Starting as a one-day festival, by 2016 it was attracting almost 150,000 people to the festival grounds in War Memorial Park.

Memorable headliners have included Kasabian, Biffy Clyro, Super Furry Animals, Reverend and the Makers and of course, home town acts like Tom Clarke of the Enemy and The Selecter.

And there’s not long to wait until the 2024 event as it’s set to return from Friday, July 5 to Sunday, July 7. That's around seven weeks away.
