Who is EastEnders' Lacey Turner's fiance?

Yesterday we brought you the exciting news that much-loved EastEnders’ star, Lacey was engaged to her long-term love, Matt Kay, with Matt sharing an adorable photo to mark the occasion on his Instagram page.

Now we can reveal that Matt is a hairdresser, has known Lacey since they were 15 years old, and that the pair are absolutely perfect together.

According to The Sun, Matt and Lacey first started dating 13 years ago but have split up three times throughout their relationship, reuniting for the third time a few years back.

Matt, who runs his own barber shop called ‘Overgrown’ in central London, seemingly proposed to Lacey whilst the pair were in holiday in Venice and together the couple are the proud parents of a gorgeous French Bulldog.

Lacey opened up about her relationship with Matt back in 2008, although she did admit at the time that she hadn’t really thought about the future.

She said at the time: “He’s practically perfect. I’m really happy. We are very similar – we both like staying in and watching TV and films.

“We are really happy but we are taking it slow. We are still so young – we haven’t really thought much about the future.

“I know that I want to be a mum, but not for many years yet. I’m just getting started with my career so that is way off.”

EastEnders’ fans have inundated Lacey with well-wishes since her exciting news broke, and we know that we couldn’t be happier for the adorable couple.
