Wildfire Haze Hangs Over Massachusetts Coast

Hundreds of active Canadian wildfires sent thick smoke wafting over the northeastern United States on Thursday, June 8, footage shows.

The wildfire smoke would be moving out of the Massachusetts and Connecticut area throughout Thursday, the National Weather Service (NWS) said, though the agency warned that “another batch of smoke” could impact parts of the southern coast of Massachusetts on Friday.
