The weather is expected to clear up on Thursday, despite weather warnings remaining in place elsewhere in the country.

At the time of writing, no rain was forecast for Wiltshire on Thursday, with light clouds and sunny intervals expected.

Those caught in wet conditions on the roads have been urged to drive with caution.

A National Highways spokesperson said: “It's changeable weather this week across the country with bursts of rain and sudden thunderstorms - remember to watch out.”
