Woman Dons Sterilized Hippo Costume to Hug Her Mom at Retirement Home

A family paid a visit to grandma in a Stephens City, Virginia, retirement home, with her daughter hugging her while wearing an inflatable hippo costume as a precaution against COVID-19.

Footage posted to Twitter May 13 shows the grandma at the entrance of the facility, receiving a hug from her daughter in the hippo costume. “This is wonderful!” the elder woman exclaims.
