Woman shares intricate toilet paper design to create when guests come around

A woman has shared an intricate guide on how to make your toilet paper rolls look as fancy as they are in high-end hotel rooms and cruise ship cabins.

There are many little added extras that can make a difference to the luxuriousness of your stay while away from home - from your towels being shaped into swans to a little fun design on your toilet rolls.

While these little features may seem like things that are only part of a luxury hotel stay, there is a way to complete them at home to add a little feeling of richness when guests come around.

One woman took to TikTok under the handle @janelleandkate to show off her folding skills and tell people how to get their toilet rolls looking super fancy.

She captioned the video: "Do this for your guests!" as she racked up 2.2 million views and over 88,000 likes on her fancy toilet paper roll tutorial.

The woman began by taking a sheet of toilet paper and folding it over and over again into thin little strips. She set this aside and then turned her attention to the entire roll, folding one sheet in half diagonally that is still attached to the roll.

The TikTokker then folded this up again to create a triangle sitting atop one unfolded sheet of loo roll and smoothed this out, before folding it back on itself to create a smaller triangle facing upwards into the roll.

She then folded the smaller triangle down and smoothed it and took the roll over to the sink and ran the tap for a few seconds. She stopped the tap and then placed the tip of the triangle onto the rim of the tap for a count of three seconds to seal it onto the sheet of toilet roll behind it

This creates a letter seal look to the toilet roll and ensures nothing will be flapping around before it is used. She then put the toilet roll back onto its holder and took the small folded piece of loo roll she had created earlier and folded it in half.

She let the folds of tissue fan out into a lovely little design and placed this into the flap just above where the loo roll had been sealed.

This fun little tutorial has been commented on by over 700 viewers who praised the woman for taking the time to impress her guests with this loo roll hack.

One person wrote: "That is pretty cute lol."

Another said: "If i saw this in someone is house i might just be too scared to use the toilet paper!"

A third added: "My cleaner does this and I think it’s a cute touch!"

And a fourth noted: "I would love to have that kind of time" alongside a laughing face emoji.
