'There won't be a dry eye in the house' as famous show heads to Liverpool

A renowned show, which regularly sells out, is coming to Liverpool this year.

Tickets are now on sale for Backyard Cinema's screenings of Baz Luhrmann's 1996 Romeo+Juliet in the city centre in September. After being seen by over 100,000 fans during its time in London, the exclusive week of screenings will take place at the beautiful Grade II listed St George’s Hall.

The famous movie soundtrack will be brought to life with live musicians and choir performing before the film, during the interval and after the screening. Expect to hear favourites including Young Hearts Run Free, Everybody’s Free (To Feel Good), When Doves Cry and many more.

Dominic Davies, Backyard Cinema Founder and CEO, said: "I can’t wait to show Liverpool our most famous show Romeo+Juliet with a live choir, and where better to host this epic event than Liverpool’s St George’s Hall. It’s truly a special show and I couldn’t be more excited."
