It took Amanda Funch 450 hours over two and a half months to complete the world’s largest mass manufactured jigsaw.
The completed puzzle now sits proudly in her living room in Denmark.
The 19-year-old posted images of her with the jigsaw puzzle onto social media site Reddit and received countless comments and questions about her achievement.
She said: ‘I never thought it could be such a big thing on the internet but it's a pleasant surprise, people have been very sweet about it.’
Amanda said that she has made jigsaw puzzles as long as she can remember and has always enjoyed the pastime.
She said: ‘I will carry on because it is a part of who I am. I do small jigsaw with 1000-1500 pieces just to keep me going because it relaxes me.’
Amanda has since written to Guinness World Records but she is also thinking of donating her remarkable puzzles to a local children's Hospital.
