In an interview with the Daily Star, the Irish music manager criticised Rita’s credibility as an artist, saying that she’s better known for her wacky fashion sense.

“She’s more of a clothes horse than a popstar,” he said.

In the same interview, he also took credit for Tulisa’s creation of Little Mix during her time on the X Factor judging panel, saying that he was part of the selection process.

“I helped her put them together!” he told the paper.

The X Factor judge is well known for his outspoken opinions, particularly on his fellow female X Factor judges most notably, Cheryl Fernandez-Versini, who he recently claimed ‘couldn’t sing’.

Previously, Louis has said that Cheryl’s band ‘didn’t get on’ and that Nadine Coyle was the only member with singing talent.

Earlier this year, Louis publicly said that the former Girls Aloud star has ‘lost a bit of energy’ and should instead invest her time in making music, rather than judging it.

“Cheryl needs a rest. She’s lost a bit of energy, she should go away, make a record and maybe record another hit,“ he said.

Speaking of last year’s low ratings when Cheryl was on the panel with Nick Grimshaw and Rita Ora, Louis said that he was pleased watching at home.

“I was gloating, because the ratings weren’t very good,” he said during a recent This Morning appearance, adding:

"There were too many changes. It was a different show. There was no Dermot, no me, no Sharon. It didn’t have the warmth. It wasn’t that family feeling.”
