New York Police Union Brings Meals to Elmhurst Hospital Workers

Members of New York’s Police Benevolent Association labor union visited Elmhurst Hospital in Queens on April 29 to provide meals and thanks to the hospital’s workers, who have been at the epicenter of the nation’s COVID-19 pandemic.

“Thank you front line heroes – the doctors, nurses, custodians and all employees of Elmhurst Hospital for all that they are doing – as they are on the front line facing the COVID-19 pandemic,” tweeted the NYPD 104th Precinct Twitter account, which also shared photos of the event. “We appreciate them and support them.”
