New York restaurant to give 3,000 free pizzas away

A new restaurant is opening in York and giving away 3,000 free pizzas.

This summer, we’ll see Rudy's Pizza Napoletana open in York city centre with the restaurant chain launching after enjoying success across Yorkshire. There are already Rudy’s branches in Leeds and Sheffield with the business originally launching in Manchester.

The new York pizzeria will be located in High Ousegate with the venue set over one floor with an ample dining area and an open kitchen. There will also be an outdoor courtyard spot for up to 25 people.

The Naples-inspired restaurant will serve favourites including marinara, margherita and calabrese. It will open on Saturday, June 22.
