British YouTuber Nicole Thea and her unborn son died after she suffered a suspected heart attack, her family have said.

Thea, 24, who was just weeks away from giving birth, passed away on Saturday along with her baby boy.

She had complained of chest and back pains and difficulties breathing before her death, her uncle told MailOnline.

Mr Murray told the news site: “We think she had a massive heart attack.

“She had it in her house and she was telling her partner that she had pains in her chest and her back,” he added, explaining that the family was awaiting the results of a post-mortem examination.

He said his niece, a dancer and Instagram influencer, had no known health issues.

Thea leaves behind her partner and father of her child, street dancer Global Boga – real name Jeffery Frimpon.

The couple regularly shared their excitement about becoming parents, and had already named their little boy Reign.

Announcing the tragic news on Instagram on Sunday, Thea’s mother wrote: “To all Nicole’s friends and supporters it is with great sadness that I have to inform you that Nicole and her son she and Boga named Reign sadly passed away on Saturday morning.

“As a family we ask that you give us privacy because our hearts are truly broken and we are struggling to cope with what has happened.

“Thank you, her mum. RIP My beautiful baby girl Nicnac and my grandson Reign, I will miss you for the rest of my life until we meet again in eternal heaven.”

The popular dancer and influencer who lived in London, was eight months pregnant at the time of her death.

Her last Youtube video was posted just minutes before the devastating news was announced.

The statement explained: “Nicol pre-scheduled a few YouTube videos and Boga has made the decision to allow them to be aired.”

Social media users shared tributes to the 24-year-old, with one writing: “For someone I’ve never met. I feel speechless... Her energy actually lept through my phone screen.

“Rest in Perfect peace Nicole & Baby Reign.”

Thinking of her partner, another Twitter user wrote: “He was so excited, prayers for strength to Boga and her family. RIP Nicole and Reign.”

And another wrote: “You didn’t even need to know Nicole personally to see how excited her and Boga were to be parents. You could just tell they were soul mates.”
