YouTuber Carrie Fletcher Lands Cameo Role In DreamWorks Film

We are sending our huge congratulations to Carrie Hope Fletcher today, with the popular YouTuber being announced as one of the cameo stars of new DreamWorks film, Trolls.

Ahh, how exciting.

As well as being a successful Vlogger, Carrie is the author of two hit books and a West End star, with the latest addition to her CV proving that there really isn’t anything that she can’t do.

The 23 year old is just one of the five British names that have been added to the huge cast for the film, which stars Justin Timberlake, Anna Kendrick, James Corden, Russell Brand and Gwen Stefani.

Taking to Instagram, Carrie shared an image of the cute Troll that she is playing in the film, writing: “This is Cookie the Troll… and I shall be voicing her two spectacular lines in the UK print of the movie Trolls!!

"In cinemas October 21st!!!!”

She added: “I was thrilled to be asked to voice the role of Cookie, it’s such an honour to be part of such an incredible cast.”

Fellow YouTuber, Connie Glynn, has also landed a role as fun-loving Troll Moxie Dewdrop, with Good Morning Britain’s Susanna Reid playing Grandma Rosiepuff - Justin Timberlake’s character’s grandmother.

Not too shabby, eh?

Radio 1’s Greg James has nabbed the character of avid skateboarder Aspen Heitz and model Abbey Clancy is voicing the rather delightful-sounding Mandy Sparkledust.

Needless to say, we can’t wait to hear all of these guys in action when the film comes out next month.
