Zayn Malik doesn't talk to 'any' of One Direction

He previously revealed he didn’t speak to Harry Styles much during his time in One Direction.

And despite having a whole lot of history with his former bandmates, Zayn Malik has now admitted he doesn’t talk to any of them.

The 24-year-old singer quit the boy band in March 2015 before they went on a hiatus, but since departing the Drag Me Down hitmakers he has not spoken to Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson, Niall Horan or Harry.

He told Billboard magazine: “Our relationships have definitely changed since we were in a band together, but I think that’s just life.

“Everybody grows up; two of the guys have got kids now. But no, I don’t talk to any of them, really.”

Zayn – who is in a relationship with model Gigi Hadid – previously opened up about his struggles with an eating disorder while in One Direction, but these days he insists he’s in a better place.

He said: “I’m taking things at my own pace, eating well, not going too crazy. Making sure we have dinnertime.”

Zayn has been working hard on new music and is enjoying spending time at a studio close to a working farm near rural Pennsylvania – and he’s enjoying country life.

He said: “The farm is out of the way and feels grounded. I do a lot of farm work. I take the horses out and feed the cows and that kind of stuff.

“It’s cool. I’ve always been interested in animals.”

This comes after Zayn admitted in September he “never really spoke” to Harry during their five years together in the group.

He told Us Weekly magazine: “To be honest, I never really spoke to Harry even when I was in the band.

“So, I didn’t really expect that much of a relationship with him when I left. And I haven’t [had one] to be honest.”
