Video: Car flies into second floor of home in Sao Paulo, Brazil

A driver had a miracle escape when he lost control of his car, flew over a gully and ploughed into the second floor of a house.

Incredibly the 25-year-old driver, from Sao Paulo, Brazil, emerged with a couple of minor cuts and bruises.

Footage from the aftermath of the incident shows the red Peugeot embedded in the building’s second floor.


There were reportedly eight people, including five children, sleeping inside the house at the time, but luckily none of the residents were injured.

The hapless driver was rescued by firefighters, who lowered him to the ground with a rope.

He will be charged for driving without a license and there may be additional charges for endangering the lives of others.
