'Aliens Tried To Save America From Nuclear War', Says Former NASA Astronaut

Peace-loving aliens ‘stepped in’ to prevent a nuclear war between America and Russia, according to a former NASA astronaut.

Edgar Mitchell, the sixth man to walk on the moon, claims that high-ranking military officials saw UFOs during weapons tests in the White Sands desert in New Mexico.

Mitchell, who piloted the Apollo 14 landing module, has spoken regularly about his belief in aliens.

Mitchell told the Daily Mirror, ‘White Sands was a testing ground for atomic weapons - and that's what the extra-terrestrials were interested in.’

'They wanted to know about our military capabilities.

'My own experience talking to people has made it clear the ETs had been attempting to keep us from going to war and help create peace on Earth.'
