Angel the macaque monkey is back, this time battling a roll of sticky tape
We’ve all battled with a roll of sticky tape before – especially during the festive season.
But Angel the java macaque monkey refused to be beaten, persistently unwrapping a whole role of the sticky stuff.
A video of the primate, posted by her owner, shows her patiently unravelling the roll for nearly three minutes, leaving an unusable bundle of tape in her wake.
From pulling it with her ‘hands’ to using her teeth to tear it off, the monkey uses every trick in the book to unravel the secrets of the sticky tape.
The video isn’t the first time Angel, who is at least 18 years old, has been the star of the screen.
Last year, a video of her getting a makeover went viral and sparked criticism of owner Teresa Bullock, who captured the clip at her house in Ohio on Angel’s birthday.

Macaque monkeys live in the forests in Indonesia, as well as other parts of Southeast Asia.
Many are stolen from their natural habitats each year to be sold on to pharmaceutical companies while others are sold as pets or trained to become ‘dancing monkeys’.
